Reviews About Seren Restaurant

Seren is a Turkish Restaurant opposite Tesco on Cowbridge Rd East in Canton.

Very pleasant place to eat. Great, freshest dolma (stuffed vine leaves) as mains or starter, delicious stuffed aubergine; good breadth of vegetarian, meat and fish. Authentic food and charming staff. Understated decor, loads of seating (as upstairs also). Nice Turkish beer. Generous portions and very reasonable (lunch is incredibly reasonable). This place should flourish. MJPlantag 29 July 2006.
Very simple stylish decor, nice attentive service, and of course, most importantly, very good quility and not too expensive food. Thumbs up to its stuffed aubergines, Hummus, spinach in yoghurt with garlic, excellent home-baked flatbread, as well as a load of other eminently edible stuff. Decent veggie choices as well. Ideal for a pre-Chapter snack with mates ;). --

Restaurant Description
Seren restaurant in Cardiff brings the warmth of the Med to South Wales with its authentic menu of Mediterranean and Turkish dishes. This welcoming little place has terracotta floors, spotless white linen and brightly-coloured artwork on the creamy walls. Both the hot and cold meze are as seductive as Scheherezade, from grilled aubergine purée and bulgar with peppers, to feta and parsley parcels and spicy sausage. Mains might be tender, charcoal-grilled lamb skewers or a mixed veg casserole topped with halloumi. If you can't make your mind up, try the Meze Feast - it's great value.

Recently visited Seren for first time, and was very impressed from the moment we walked through the door! Excellent service and stunning food. The staff were really on the ball. Will definitely be returning. Mmm... wonder if they have a table free tonight !!!!

What an absolutely excellent find. Lovely decor, great music, food and very excellent service. Two course lunch for less than £6 with freshly baked bread included. Wash it down with a glass or two of Turkish wine (yes Turkish, it's delicious!). A great selection of food and really delicious. I recommend finishing off your meal with a Turkish coffee and a slice of Baklava desert. I am now a regular.

Delicious authentic Turkish food, very reasonably priced. Particularly good lamb and aubergine dishes. The most delicious dolma and baklava, and delightful staff. Wonderful restaurant.
